I did check with SIPCOT, and there is no plan of acquisition of this property (as of now!). The real estate agents are spreading all kinds of rumours in the market.
My plot is in Part 2.
The development in Sriperumbudhur has been very good, but this particular property is not. i think its manly because many the people who bought land in this layout don't live in chennai now. Also we are all invested in this property thinking long term and not to stay in here. So no one is taking any efforts on this.
All of us want the area and property to develop automatically and expect to get offers left, right and center. then we would pick the best price and sell it off. I think this is too far fetched.
We also dont have time to look into this as the value is not very high.
I can do some work on this if any of you come forward and offer some solutions or ideas in this regard.

Thanks for taking the initiative. No ideas apart from the fact that we should get the address list of owners from VGP. That way we can contact them if any acquisition happens.
By the way is there a need to get patta etc.

There have already been notices in the papers re: acquisition of lands in the nearby villages of Vallam, Budanur, Palnallur, Vadagal'A'. Looks like its a question of time before they start notifying Vadakal'B', where Vinoth Town is situated. Owners must act with all speed to organize themselves into a cohesive group, so as to be able to represent and possible, negotiate matters of common interest, like compensation.
Any ideas on this ?
